Nighttime Nathan: Stories For Kids

Nathan is feeling nervous about his first day of summer camp and worries that he will not know anyone. That night, Peanut Butter Jim takes him on a trip to the Boogie Bayou, a lively swamp where music fills the air and everyone loves to dance.

When they arrive, they meet a new turtle in town named Lance, who is afraid he does not fit in because he has never learned how to dance like everyone else.

In this stories for kids podcast episode, Nathan and PB Jim explore the bayou with Lance, meeting colorful new friends like Garvin the alligator, along with dancing snakes, mosquitoes, crawfish, and other swamp creatures getting ready for the biggest boogie of the year. Even with so many friendly faces, Lance worries that everyone will laugh at him if he joins the fun.

As the music begins, Nathan realizes that making new friends is not about being the best dancer or fitting in perfectly. It is about being yourself and giving people the chance to know you. Together, Nathan, Peanut Butter Jim, and Lance discover that sometimes all it takes is one brave step onto the dance floor to feel right at home.
