Nighttime Nathan: Stories For Kids

Nathan gets hit by a baseball during his little league game, and even though the bruise will heal, it leaves him feeling unsure if he wants to keep playing at all. That night, Peanut Butter Jim appears and takes him back to Fridge City to catch a big game with the famous Fridge City Cukes.

When they arrive, they step into a buzzing stadium filled with cheering fruits and vegetables and meet star players like Evan Picklesberg, who show Nathan what makes the game so fun.

In this stories for kids podcast episode, Nathan and PB Jim explore the excitement of the big game as the Cukes take the field. But when Picklesberg gets injured, Nathan is suddenly given the chance to help the team in a very unexpected way.

As the game continues, Nathan begins to realize that feeling scared does not mean you have to give up something you love. With encouragement from Peanut Butter Jim and the players around him, he finds the courage to step back onto the field and have fun again.
